In November 2024, English number 10 George Ford appeared disappointed at Allianz Stadium.
He was called upon as a substitute to assist the home side complete a memorable triumph versus the All Blacks, however failed to convert a decisive kick and drop-goal as England fell short in a close contest.

Drop-kicks 'consistently planned'
During 2024, the player's errors with the boot came at a price as the team was defeated to New Zealand - yet Saturday showed a different story during the match.
New Zealand started quickly at Allianz Stadium, racing into a 12-point lead through scores from Fainga'anuku and Taylor.
Subsequent to Ollie Lawrence's powerful finish, Ford's back-to-back drop-kicks ensured England returned to the halftime break with the momentum.

"In my opinion that represents elite competition requires - who can deal during those situations the best."
The two attempts occurred within a two-minute span while the number 10 who nailed three drop-goals in a win facing the Argentine team in the last global tournament, displayed his complete century of caps experience.

"These attempts are consistently planned," Ford added.
"The coach is such a phenomenal leader that he is always in my ear about it, and appropriately because three points are crucial during any phase of play."
